[Article] Ecran tactile Nextion avec ESPHome : déporter vos commandes

Dernier essai : j’ai mis ton fichier dans le nextion ( en changeant juste le type d’écran )
J’ai pris ton fichier esphome dans un esp différent , fais quelques modifs mineures ( type d’esp, adresse ip de ha)
Tout a démarré correctement sauf quelques messages concernant des sensors inexistants

J’ai mis la même version d’écran en format tft dans le répertoire de ha
J’ai lancé l’upgrade ( d’un fichier identique histoire de ne pas saturer )

Il s’est mis tout de suite à 90 % puis a mis 1/2 h à télécharger le reste et …. À plante l’écran

Donc soit mes esp sont tous mauvais ( peu probable) , soir le nextion est mauvais ( mais l’upgrade avec une interface usb/ttl fonctionne correctement ( heureusement car ça sauve toujours le nextion)

Soit il y a une modif de protocole quelque part. J’utilise toutes les dernières versions de ha et esphome

Non, tu ne pollues pas, et ton problème peut arriver à d’autres :blush:

Mais malheureusement, je ne vois pas ce qui peut se passer, surtout si le problème intervient uniquement sur une mise à jour du fichier TFT en OTA, et que tout marche par ailleurs.

Encore quelques pistes (mais suis je dubitatif) :

  • Passe éventuellement le logger à un level « debug », et regarde si tu as des erreurs dans le log ESPHome du composant quand le service de mise à jour est appelé. Pour faire cela, il faudrait utiliser l’autre UART.
  • Peut être essayer une version simple tant côté nextion (genre fond blanc avec juste un texte affiché) que config ESPHome (que le minimum, sans champs définis). Si il foire sur un mapping à la fin, ce peut expliquer.
  • Vérifie la liaison physique et le connecteur du nextion à l’ESP. Eloigne le de perturbations potentielles.
  • Essaie de changer d’ESP si tu en as un autre

possédant un sonoff panel, soit grosso modo la meme configuration, j’ai identifié un firmware alternatif fait integralement sous ESPHOME

j’ai été ainsi que @kalagan soumis a cette même problématique

un chargement de firmware nexion vide , est d’après mon ressenti indispensable avant tout chargement de firmware complexe

Au bout d’un moment on tourne en rond donc tout conseil sert

  • Autre esp : fait avec tes fichiers : c’est pareil
  • Config plus simple : a faire . J’ai déjà fait en simplifiant mais pas au max
  • Log: je suis déjà sur un un autre uart que le 0, mais je n’ai pas compris à quoi sert le fait de mettre les logs sur l’uart 0. J’ai déjà les logs en soft visiblement. Par contre je suis déjà en débug. L’essai à faire est peut être au contraire aussi de mettre info seulement. Les logs ça perturbe…. De toutes façons les logs s’arrêtent vu de l’extérieur pendant la phase de téléchargement mais peut être pas en interne
    Les fils … oui je suis en breadboard … c’est pas terrible….

j’ai constaté que en fonction de l’état du répéteur wifi de la freebox, le transfert du firmware de l’ecran passait ou pas.
Essaye d’alléger au maximum ton réseau WIFI, désactive temporairement tout répéteur wifi s’il y en a.
Pour ma part rien que le fait de faire cette manip m’a permit de finaliser le « flashage »

Intéressant. C’est effectivement aussi le tronc commun de ma config que je n’ai jamais modifié
Je suis parti du principe que le flashage de l’esp était tellement plus gros et se passait si bien et si vite que la partie wifi était pas en cause. Mais le protocole est sûrement différent.
Je tente aussi ça . Je ne passe pas par un répéteur. Je suis en direct sur le 2,4 GHz de la Livebox. Je vais la rebooter

Au fait quand ça ne passait pas, ton nextion était en vrac ? Juste pour savoir si au final tu te retrouvais dans le même cas que moi

oui effectivement il était en rideau si tu as le temps essaye de lire le post que j’ai mentionné
ou tout du moins regarde les photos qui sont bien explicites

La raison n’est pas le wifi . J’ai utilisé un autre point d’accès wifi alimenté en ethernet .
J’ai tenté dupgrader le même firmware plusieurs fois sur le nextion afin de limiter au maximum la taille et ainsi se concentrer sur le protocole.
J’ai validé les logs sur l’UART 0 donc aussi sur l’USB ce qui permet d’avoir des logs pendant lupgrade ce que ne permet pas les logs en OTA.
2 upgrades ont fonctionné ( joie…) mais le troisième a de nouveau brické le nextion . Upgrade arrêté à 99 % avec erreurs sur l’écran .
Je joins le log si quelqu’un sait lire ça ….

Alors résultat des essais :

  • 9600 ne fonctionne jamais: le download vers l’écran est très long (plusieurs dizaine de minutes et s’arrête vers 99 % avec une erreur; l’écran est briqué au redémarrage
  • 112500 fonctionne avec certaines précautions : débrancher et rebrancher l’ensemble ESP et Nextion; lancer l’upgrade; j’ai tenté d relancer plusieurs fois l’upgrade du même fichier tft: ca fonctionne 2 fois; la troisième ça plante.
    En procédant ainsi, j’ai réussi a passer de mon fichier tft a un autre complétement différent et vice versa

Cela reste assez surprenant quand meme et je suspecte un problème de timer dans le protocole d’upload

pour info j’ai mis ces lignes la dans le menu program’s de nextion editor:

Je progresse avec mon système; (mais je laisse tomber l’upgrade via HA car ca fonctionne par hasard de temps en temps seulement. il y a normalement de posts sur le sujet sans vraiment de solution fiable sauf la réparation en branchant l’écran sur un adaptateur usb (ce que je fais mais c’est pénible en phase de mise au point) ou l’utilisation de tasmota (mais je n’ai pas encore trouvé le temps de trouver une solution simple de passage de esphome a tasmota, upgrade et tasmota vers esphome.

je me cogne actuellement a la fonction gauge: ça fonctionne sauf qu’a chaque envoi dune valeur de position, la trace precedente de l’aiguille reste et ça fini par remplir tout l’écran de la gauge;

As tu deja joué avec ca et quelle solution pourt effacer la trace a chaque nouvelle valeur ?

Si je devais le faire, j’exposerai un service appelable depuis HA avec un lambda dedans pour spécifier l’intensité. HA appelera le service pour régler l’intensité en fonction de l’heure de la journée.

Soit quelque chose du genre :
